I Love Rock and Roll

« back to classes page
ClassGraphic From the raw, rebellious roots of early rock to the stadium-filling anthems that defined generations, this study group will take you on a deep dive into the music that changed everything. Each week, we tackle a new theme — One-Hit Wonders Who Burned Brightly, Cover Versions That Blew the Original Out of the Water, The Greatest Love Songs Ever Written, Guitar Solos That Stopped Time, The Tragic Brilliance of the 27 Club, and much more. Each session will spotlight six or seven hand-picked songs that bring that week's theme to life. We'll listen, watch, and then talk about the artists behind the music, the stories locked inside the lyrics, the technical magic of the playing, and why these songs still matter decades later. This isn't passive listening. It's a conversation among people who care deeply about rock and roll — its history, its legends, its scandals, its genius. No music degree needed. Just a love of great rock and two hours a week to celebrate the music that provided the soundtrack to our lives. If you love rock and roll, this is your study group.
