ClassGraphic Few cities in the world have been as dramatically trans-formed and shaped by architects more than Chicago; from it's rebuilding after the Great Chicago Fire in 1871 to it's modernization after World War II, making it the epicenter of Mid Century Modern. OLLI members who are Chicago Architecture Center docents will lead you through the forces that established Chicago's future, to the role Chicago's architects play in developing the skylines around the world. We will use videos of key Chicago architects coupled with guest lecturers and two walking tours to see the very buildings we've discussed, Learn why so many visitors travel to Chicago to learn about our rich architectural heritage.
