ClassGraphic It is human nature to want to matter and to have agency.  It can be more difficult to do so as we grow older. We will survey literature about Mattering, Agency, and Human Nature with a special focus on their impact on older adults. Our source materials will vary but will include the book Mattering: The Secret Life of Deep Connection (Portfolio, 2026) by Jennifer Wallace, We may also read other materials if time permits. Join us as we explore literature on how to enjoy life more.
