Preparing to Learn Together: Research methods and strategies for richer study group discussions
In this interactive workshop Coordinators will learn research methods, discussion leader
guidance, and learning environment strategies that contribute to a rich learning experience.
Tracy Coyne, NU Reference Librarian, will introduce you to the strengths and limitations of
ChatGPT as well as resources at Northwestern University Library and beyond to enhance our
study groups. Leslie Fischer, NU Lecturer, will provide ideas for preparing study groups, guiding
discussion leaders, creative assignments, and learning environment strategies.
