Documentary Films (PM)

« back to classes page
ClassGraphic A documentary film is a nonfiction motion picture intended to portray reality — primarily for the purposes of instruction, education, or maintaining a historical record. Or is it? Join us for our continuing adventure into the fascinating world of documentary films. In each session, we will discuss a film of artistic, political, historical, or social merit — always of interest and sometimes controversial. Each participant will be responsible for viewing the week’s selection in advance. The movies may be rented through an online streaming service for a minimal fee or borrowed from the local library. Members must commit to presenting one film during the course of the semester. Join us for a semester of fun and learning.
