The New Yorker

« back to classes page
ClassGraphic This study group is for longtime fans of The New Yorker as well as newcomers. Each session will examine the contents of the current issue and then explore a previously assigned article in depth. A volunteer discussion leader who has chosen the article will lead the discussion. Conversations are lively. Everyone is expected to lead a discussion once a semester. Participants will be encouraged to become “watchers”, who briefly discuss the current issue from the cover to cartoons and everything in between. A subscription to the magazine is necessary either in print or online.
