
Every decade for the last 70 years, the British Film Institute, through its magazine
Sight and Sound, has polled critics and later directors, to rank the greatest films of all time. Join us as we discover, analyze, and discuss the 14 films that directors have ranked the best in the just-released 2022 poll. Study group members will watch the films before each session via a streaming service or on DVD. The films are (in the chronological order in which we plan to discuss them):
