
This study group is designed to improve particants' photographic skills. Sessions will alternate between virtual sessions and group photography shoots (indoor and outdoor, chosen by the coordinators). The virtual sessions will include image review; discussion of photographic techniques, post-processing methods, tips, and tricks; discussion of upcoming field exercises; and study group member presentations of a favorite photographer, photographic technique, or place to photograph. This study group is open to any OLLI member who owns a digital camera where the exposure can be adjusted (ideally with a manual exposure mode). Participants must also have a computer (PC or Mac), basic computer skills, and access to and basic knowledge of photographic editing software such as Photoshop, Lightroom, or Photoshop Elements. Mentoring is available to help study group participants learn camera features, photographic techniques, and processing methods.
